Our Farm

Grown with intention, harvested with care

Every Greziva batch moves through the same journey, from seed to packed box.

From seed to harvest

Chapter 01 · The seed

It begins with a single seed.

Chosen for flavour, sown edge to edge in a clean tray. Nothing else goes in.

Seed to doorstep

Seven steps, one batch at a time

Microgreens have a short life between sowing and the plate. Here is how we look after every stage of it.

  1. Close-up of golden fenugreek seeds before sowing

    Step 1 · Seed

    Seed selection

Each batch starts from a chosen seed lot.

  2. Soaked seeds just beginning to sprout, ready to be sown

    Step 2 · Sow

    Sowing

Seeds are sown into a growing medium in controlled farm trays.

  3. Seedlings unfurling their first leaves in a growing trayIllustrative image

    Step 3 · Germinate

    Germination

Trays are monitored for consistent moisture and temperature.

  4. Rows of seedling trays on growing racksIllustrative image

    Step 4 · Grow

    Growing

Careful daily checks through each variety's specific growth window.

  5. Microgreens being cut just above the growing mediumIllustrative image

    Step 5 · Harvest

    Harvest

Cut close to your delivery window, at each variety's peak.

  6. Trays of radish and broccoli microgreens grown side by sideIllustrative image

    Step 6 · Pack

    Packaging

Packed by our farm team, batch by batch.

  7. A packed box of fresh greens ready for doorstep deliveryIllustrative image

    Step 7 · Deliver

    Delivery

Packed at the farm and delivered in the slot you choose.

Freshness isn’t something we add at the end. It’s decided by how carefully every tray is looked after, every single day.

Inside a tray

Every variety keeps its own time

Each tray moves through the same few stages, but not at the same pace. Here is how long each green typically spends in each one before it is cut.

Blackout
Covered and weighted, so stems grow strong and straight.
Under light
Uncovered; leaves open and turn green.
Harvest
Cut above the soil close to your delivery window.
Soak
Seeds soaked so the hard hulls soften.
  • Radish

Typically 7–10 days seed to harvest

    • Blackout 2–3 days
    • Under light 4–7 days
    • Harvest
  • Mustard

Typically 8–12 days seed to harvest

    • Blackout 2–3 days
    • Under light 5–9 days
    • Harvest
  • Broccoli

Typically 8–12 days seed to harvest

    • Blackout 3–4 days
    • Under light 5–8 days
    • Harvest
  • Sunflower

Typically 8–12 days seed to harvest

    • Soak 8–12 hours
    • Blackout 3–4 days
    • Under light 4–7 days
    • Harvest
  • Pea shoots

Typically 10–14 days seed to harvest

    • Soak 12–24 hours
    • Blackout 3–4 days
    • Under light 6–10 days
    • Harvest

Typical ranges for each crop grown as microgreens in trays; our batches fall inside them but vary a little with the weather. Bars share one scale of 14 days.

Traceability

Traceable, batch by batch

We keep a record for every batch we grow: its variety, tray count, sowing date and harvest date. It is how we keep track of what is on the racks, and how we look into a batch if it ever falls short of our standard.

Batch code
Each batch of trays gets its own code, with the variety and the number of trays.
Sowing date
When the tray was started, so every batch has a known age.
Harvest date
The planned and actual harvest dates, with the yield.
